Facing Goa: A Photo Symphony is a visual exploration of the spirit of Goa today through its people.  Told through two parallel narratives — imagery of the people of Goa unfold in tandem with imagery of Goa’s Stuti Choral and String Ensemble — both reflecting the zeitgeist of Goa.

In the intimate faces and gazes one sees the coming together of disparate worlds — the original settlers and the ancestral Goan families, the new infusion of migrant labor and the cosmopolitan influence of Goa based city folk.

The book maps Goa’s shifting social and cultural stratigraphy onto a human canvas.
